Deung Gyeongdol

Deunggyeongdol is a restaurant in Seogwipo that serves ttukbaegi stews with obunjagi, abalone and seafood, along with grilled hairtail, right in front of the entrance to Seongsan Ilchulbong. The menu also includes obunjagi ttukbaegi, sea urchin seaweed soup, abalone porridge and braised hairtail, and whole grilled hairtail is served as well. On weekdays the dining room stays quiet even during peak season, and Seongsan Ilchulbong is visible through the windows. The seafood ttukbaegi broth is on the salty side, so the seafood alone tastes salty even when eaten without the broth.
