Bomokdong Haenyeo-ui Jip

Bomokdong Haenyeo-ui Jip in Seogwipo serves damselfish (jaridom) hoe, squid (hanchi) hoe, and grilled damselfish (jaridom), and sits by the water at Bomok Port. Its signature dish is Jeju-style hoe, which uses a doenjang base with vinegar or zepi instead of cho-gochujang. Outdoor tables look out toward Seopseom, and the grilled damselfish (jaridom) takes some time after ordering. The squid (hanchi) is served frozen and can run out in the evening, so an early meal is needed.
