Gwangchigi Coast sits at the end of Seogwipo Olle Trail Course 2, past Seongsan Ilchulbong. It opens onto a black shore and a wide sea, with Seongsan Ilchulbong visible across the water. The difference between high and low tide is distinct, and at low tide the hardened lava floor is exposed and crabs are caught. Rock that appears to have flowed as lava remains in the middle of the coast.
