Yakcheonsa Temple

Yakcheonsa is a large Buddhist temple centered on a Daejeokgwangjeon hall in Jungmun, Seogwipo. The Daejeokgwangjeon hall was built in 1996, and the temple is counted among the largest in Jeju. It began as a small hermitage called Yaksuam, and the name Yakcheonsa comes from a nearby spring. The grounds are large enough that a short visit is difficult.
