Sonangmeori is a small seaside park near downtown Seogwipo, around Jeongbang Falls and the Seobok Exhibition Hall. It holds a freshwater pool fed by a spring and a coastal walking path. The site is a historical place where Seogwipo citizens were killed during the April 3 Incident, and the route from Cheonjiyeon Falls to Jeongbang Falls passes through it. The rocks along the shore and the steps leading down vary in height, so watch your footing.
