Sanbangsan is a 395m peak in Sagye-ri, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, where visitors can see Sanbanggulsa and three temples. Its large bell-shaped lava formation is visible around the Sagye coast and Yongmeori coast, with rapeseed flowers as a backdrop in spring. From January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2031, access to the summit is restricted, so visitors walk only the trail from the Sanbangsan ticket office to Sanbanggulsa and stamp the national heritage stamp at the Sanbanggulsa ticket office. There are many stairs, making the climb difficult for the elderly and infirm.
