Pyoseon Beach in Seogwipo is a wide, gently sloping stretch of shore 313 meters across, covered in very fine sand. At low tide the water pulls back to reveal a round white sand beach and a broad sand flat, and even at high tide the water is only about waist-deep for an adult. The beach has restrooms, showers, a large public parking lot, a walking path, and rest areas with tables, and sand sculptures stand at the entrance. At low tide the water is so shallow that you have to walk a long way to reach a spot deep enough to swim.
