Jungseop Street is a culture and arts street built near Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, centered on the Lee Jungseop Art Museum and a small thatched house. Copies of artworks run along the walls and ground, and souvenir shops and handicraft stores cluster together. A one-room thatched house remains where Lee Jungseop stayed with his Japanese wife and two sons and worked during the Korean War. The art museum is under reconstruction, and the street is quiet on weekdays and at night.
