Beomseom is an uninhabited island south of Seogwipo where columnar joints and sea caves can be seen. Boats, either tour boats or fishing boats, circle the island so passengers can look at the cliffs and fish. The boat briefly enters a cave on Beomseom and a guide provides commentary. When the sea is rough, boats do not depart and passengers may get seasick.
