Meokgeori Yanggopchang

Mukgeori Yang Gopchang is a specialty restaurant near Sinsa Station in Jamwon-dong, Seoul, that grills gopchang, daechang, and yang. The gopchang is packed with gop and the yang is tender, and both arrive par-grilled so diners can wipe off the fat with bread as they cook. Baekkimchi, saenggan, cheonyeop, and geotjeori are served as basic side dishes along with handmade ssamjang and a special sauce, followed at the end by bokkeumbap and kongnamulguk. Grilling the gopchang and daechang reduces their volume, so the portions run small.
