Ju

Ju is a Chinese restaurant in Bangbae-dong, Seoul, serving tangsuyuk, jjajangmyeon, and jjamppong. The tangsuyuk, its signature dish, uses thick pieces of meat in a light batter and comes bokmeok-style. It is the restaurant of chef Ju Deok-seong, a founding member of the Chosun Hotel, and the dining room has few tables, enough that a wait of about 20 minutes forms around 1 p.m. on Sundays. The tangsuyuk sauce is on the sweet side and is served with the default bokmeok.
