Bangbae Sundaeguk

Bangbae Sundae Guk is a neighborhood gukbap restaurant near Bangbae Station in Seoul that serves sundae guk, bone haejang guk, and seonji haejang guk. The sundae guk contains regular sundae, abai sundae, head meat, and offal, and the broth is rich and clean enough to eat without daddagi. The small space draws a lunch line after 11:30, but the tables turn quickly so the wait is not long. The sundae is commercially made with glass noodles and is on the chewy side.
