The Velo Factory

Thevelo is a bakery in Yangjae-dong, near Yangjaecheon in Seocho-gu, Seoul, that bakes bread with domestic wheat, whole wheat, and rye. It mainly sells buckwheat ciabatta, buckwheat baguette, fig whole wheat bread, and cream cheese bread. Bread comes out in batches by the hour but runs late, so people go on Saturday mornings rather than weekdays, and there are no tables to sit at inside the shop. Bread dries out quickly if left out, so it is better eaten right away.
