Patisserie Roots is a bakery in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon, that bakes financiers, kouign-amann, and egg tarts on site. Its strawberry field financier combines pistachio, fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce, and chocolate. The shop seats about three four-person tables, a bar table, and three two-person tables, so there are not many seats. Tables are packed close together, which makes it uncomfortable to stay for long.
