Momochihama Beach

Momochihama Beach is an artificial beach facing the sea directly in front of Fukuoka Tower. People swim on the wide stretch of sand and watch airplanes pass overhead. It takes a little over 30 minutes by bus from Hakata Station, and a ferry to Uminonakamichi is also available. The beach has lifeguards and safety lines, and summers are very hot.
