Butadon Mamuro

Butadon Mamuro is a small rice bowl shop in Sapporo that serves butadon topped with Hokkaido pork. The pork carries a black pepper aroma and comes with glossy, firm-grained white rice and a bowl of miso soup. Two elderly owners run the shop, and local office workers make up more of its customers than tourists do. After ordering, food takes at least 20 minutes to arrive.
