Cable car of Santorini

The Fira Cable Car connects the old port and the town of Fira on Santorini. It runs up and down in about two minutes each way, carrying 36 people per trip in each direction, with views of the caldera. In the summer peak season, waits can reach about 45 minutes, and the line grows longer when cruise ships arrive. The fare is high relative to the ride time.
