Cheongnam Samgyeopsal

Cheongnamsamgyeopsal is a samgyeopsal (pork belly) restaurant in Yeongun-dong, Cheongju. It serves thick pork belly with kimchi jjigae made from aged kimchi that has been fermented for two years, along with sotbap. The restaurant has been run by three generations, grills the pork belly on a stone plate, and serves u-reong doenjang jjigae as a basic side. The seasoning is closer to kimchi stew than to jjigae.
