Jungang Park is a historical park on Seongan-gil in Cheongju. It holds a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree called Apgaksu, the two-story wooden Byeongmajeoldosa Yeongmun gate, and Mangseonru. The park covers about 81,840 square meters and has hosted the Cheongju Eupseong Daejanchi gilnori nongak performance and the Cultural Heritage Night Walk. Many older people play baduk and rest there, so it is less suited for children.
