Gyehwawon

Gyehwaweon is a chicken restaurant near the Garden of Morning Calm in Gapyeong, serving charcoal-grilled dakgalbi and perilla oil noodles. The dakgalbi comes in salt, soy sauce, and spicy versions, arrives partially cooked, and is finished on the grill at the table. The two-person set includes charcoal-grilled dakgalbi, dakgomtang, and fresh spring rolls with vegetables, and side dishes can be refilled at a self-service bar. The dining room is loud and nearly full even at 2 p.m.
