Morning Calm Family Zoo

Achimgoyo Family Zoo in Gapyeong is a family-oriented zoo where children can see animals from lions and tigers to Asiatic black bears up close. A signature activity is buying feed such as carrots and crackers to give to the animals, and peacocks, parrots and alpacas are also on view. A slow walk through the whole zoo takes about two hours, and tickets can be bought on Naver or on site. The enclosures for some of the large animals look small and cramped.
