Mugeon-ri Moss Falls

Mugeonri Ikki Falls sits in the mountain village of Mugeonri in Dogye-eup, Samcheok, where moss-covered rocks meet the water of the valley. The walk from the parking lot to the falls is about 3.5 km along a forest road and wooden deck stairs, and the water grows heavier after rain, making the scene more distinct. The route takes about 50 minutes one way for an adult man, and the final approach to the falls includes roughly 400 m of downhill stairs. The 8 km round trip is a continuous climb and descent, which makes it a difficult course for older or less mobile visitors.
