Botanic Coffee Kyoto

Botanical Coffee Kyoto is an antique coffee shop on the path from Philosopher's Path to Ginkaku-ji and Zenrin-ji. It serves desserts such as pancakes, Earl Grey scones, French toast, and apple pie, along with coffee and matcha lemonade. The shop is underground, so you go down a staircase, and a cuckoo clock rings on the hour while the French toast takes time to prepare. Indoor seating is on the small side.
