Eiji

Eiji is an udon-focused izakaya on Kawabata-dori near Sanjo Ohashi and Keihan Sanjo Station in Kyoto. The chef, who previously worked at an Antarctic observation station, serves curry udon that combines the savoriness of the broth with the softness of cheese, and a set can be ordered with chinja-don. At lunch, one person runs the shop, so orders can take time. The shop is small and fills up quickly after opening.
