Il Ciociaro

Il Ciociaro is a basement Italian restaurant near the Vatican that serves steak, pasta, and pizza. Roast lamb and mushroom pasta are finished with truffle, and the steak is served without asking how you want it cooked. Servers who speak English are on staff, and the bread brought before the meal can be removed if you say you do not want it. The pasta in vongole and other dishes is undercooked and on the salty side.
