Iari The Vino is an Italian restaurant on Via Frangipane, a 5- to 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. It serves gambleroni pasta, lamb dishes, and steak, with the lamb accompanied by pistachio and the fresh pasta cooked to a chewy udon-like texture, alongside tiramisu. The restaurant opens at noon and fills up within about 20 minutes, with even reserved guests waiting around 20 minutes, so a reservation is needed. At payment, diners have been encouraged to tip and have paid in cash when card payment was not accepted.
