Caffè Greco is a cafe on Via dei Condotti, the street that leads to the Spanish Steps, serving espresso, cappuccino, sandwiches and desserts. Espresso can be drunk standing at the bar, and fruit tarts and brownies are among the desserts. It has operated since 1760, Goethe was a regular, and paintings hang inside, giving it the atmosphere of an art museum. Sitting at a table to order costs more.
