The Prague Astronomical Clock was installed in 1410 in the Old Town area of Prague and is a historic tourist site. On the hour, a bell rings and the twelve apostles appear for about 20 to 30 seconds, with the upper part showing the astronomical clock and the lower part showing the agricultural seasons. The observation deck can be reached by elevator, and entry is free with the Prague Visitor Pass; in mid-February there was no wait to enter. Crowds gather for the hourly show, so wearing bags in front is safer.
