The Appia Antica is a historic preserved road that runs near the Domine Quo Vadis church and the Appia Antica Cafe in Rome. Many people rent bicycles to ride it, and parts of the route are paved with stone. The pin shown on maps is in the wrong place, so do not get off at the 118 bus stop; instead, set one of the two places as your destination. The sidewalks are narrow and traffic is heavy, and the air is poor along some sections.
