Aventine Hill

Aventine Hill in Rome holds the Orange Garden, the Rose Garden, and views over Rome and the Vatican. A typical sight is looking through the green door keyhole of the Knights of Malta headquarters to the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. The line at the keyhole can take about 40 minutes, so an early morning visit is better. The square in front of the keyhole has no shade or roof, and it is hot at midday.
