Ara Pacis Augustae is a museum in Rome displaying the Altar of Peace from the Augustan era. The altar, large and well preserved, sits inside an exhibition hall designed by Richard Meier. The exhibition space is small, and entry is free with the Roma MIC card. Admission costs money otherwise.
