Ritz Paris Le Comptoir is a bakery cafe of the Ritz hotel that sells madeleines and cakes, a five-minute walk from Madeleine station exit 3. It offers fruit and pistachio madeleines, marble cake, and brioche gateau, and the honey chestnut flavor stands out in the madeleine drinks. With only three to six tables, waiting about 20 minutes for a seat is possible, and after 4 p.m. only three or four kinds of madeleines may remain. The coffee, including iced americano, is on the weak side.
