La Parisienne

La Parisienne is a bakery across from a Paris metro station, selling baguettes and pastries. It serves baguettes with a crisp crust and chewy inside, cold-cut and pickle sandwiches, mille-feuille, and vanilla-scented flan. The shop won first place in the Paris baguette competition, and the baguette keeps its taste even when toasted the next day. There is no English menu, and service for foreign customers is not smooth.
