Heiwadori Shopping Street

Heiwa Dori Shotengai is a tiled-roof shopping street that runs from Kokusai Dori to Noren Plaza in Okinawa and connects to Ichiba Dori. It is lined with Okinawan souvenir shops along with clothing stores, snack shops, food stalls, and izakaya. The roof lets people walk through on rainy or hot days, and a side path leads to Daiichi Makishi Kosetsu Ichiba. Souvenirs here tend to cost more than at supermarkets.
