Sam's Sailor Inn in Okinawa grills steak and lobster on teppan tables, and the dining room is decorated to resemble a ship. The standard course cooks cabbage, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions and meat on the griddle and comes with a curry-flavored soup and white rice. In the evening there is a wait, and seating is on the first floor and in the basement, with a griddle at every seat. The basement has no Wi-Fi and weak ventilation, so clothes pick up the smell of steak after the meal.
