Old Waon Naha Makishi serves Okinawan dishes alongside izakaya items, including mapo tofu, ebi mayo, and mozuku sunomono. It sits in a narrow alley behind the Heiwa-dori shopping street in Makishi, Naha. Guests pass through a passage about 30 cm wide, press a call bell at an entrance that looks like an ordinary house, and go up to the second floor, which has sofa seating, floor seating, counters, and tables. Walk-ins have occurred, but reservations are required for couples or when this place is the goal.
