Uwa is a charcoal-grilled pork restaurant in Higashimachi, a short walk from the monorail station and the bus terminal. Samgyeopsal and pork ribs are grilled over charcoal and cut with scissors, served as a set with doenjang jjigae and several side dishes. The room has the silver round charcoal tables and chairs seen in Korean dramas, and egg custard, naengmyeon and pajeon are also on offer. The heat of the charcoal grill is hard to adjust, which makes cooking the samgyeopsal difficult.
