Kanehachi is an Okinawa soba shop in Kumoji, Naha, a four-minute walk east from Kencho-mae Station and behind Ryugin. The Kanehachi soba comes with hon-soki and samgyeopsal (pork belly), served with a broth made from Kibimaru pork and softly simmered meat. The noodles are thin, and the soup is topped with chopped green onion and shredded egg crepe. The shop sits inside a back alley, which makes it hard to find the first time.
