Nakamura-ya

Nakamura-ya is a local Okinawan izakaya a two-minute walk from Kokusai Street. It serves sashimi platters, Nakamura fried dishes, goya chanpuru, and mozuku tempura, with Orion draft beer and awamori available. The bar opens at 17:00 and takes reservations by phone only, and seats are sometimes still open before 18:00. The menu is in Japanese only and English is not spoken.
