Maisukuya

Maisukuya is a local izakaya in Okinawa that serves local dishes as drinking snacks and awamori. Okinawan-style oden platters can be ordered with pig's trotters added, and awamori comes as shots, on the rocks, or mixed with soda. A liqueur made with ginger and lemon juice added to awamori is also available, and most of the customers are locals. There is no English menu and no staff who speak English, so ordering is difficult.
