木曳門

Mokureimon is a stone gate near Ajana on the west side of Shurijo Park, where timber for building and repairing the castle was brought in. It was the route along which people dragged trees cut in the mountains of northern Yanbaru into Shurijo. The park's viewing course is one-way, so visitors pass through this gate last when leaving the paid area. The gate is an arch built from stacked layers of Ryukyuan limestone and has no door panels.
