American Village Shopping Street in Okinawa is an outdoor shopping area built to look like an American resort town, with malls, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Shops sell American-style large hamburgers, steak, and Okinawan taco rice, and many stores have traditional Chinese menus. The street leads to a beach walkway, where you can drink coffee at outdoor seats and watch the sunset, and lights come on at night. Prices at the shops are on the high side.
