Gongneung-dong Dokkaebi Market

Gongneung-dong Dokkaebi Sijang is a traditional market selling household goods, food ingredients, and bunsik, located between Taereung Entrance Station on Line 7 and the Gyeongchun Line Forest Path. Inside the market, restaurants such as Myeongdong Hongdukkae Son Kalguksu and banchan shops line a straight path. It began as street stalls near Hwarangdae Station after the Gyeongchun Railway opened in 1939, and it is marked by a covered arcade and a market street that rises and falls. The kalguksu restaurant draws a line of people who wait a long time.
