Taereung and Gangneung Royal Tombs

Taereung and Gangneung are Joseon royal tomb sites in Gongneung-dong, Seoul, holding the tombs of Queen Munjeong at Taereung and of King Myeongjong and Queen Insun at Gangneung. A forest path runs from Taereung to Gangneung, forming a walking route between the two tombs. The site includes the Royal Tombs Museum, and there is a parking lot on the Taereung side, with bus access as well. In winter, the opening hours for the walking route are shorter.
