Byeokun Valley (Mulgæ Bawi)

Byeokun Gyegok (Mulgae Bawi) sits on the slopes of Suraksan in Seoul and can be reached on foot from Exit 1 of Suraksan Station. Clear, cool water runs through it, with several spots for playing in the water and places to spread a mat. Going up toward Surakgyo, Jangnakgyo, and Baegungyo, the water gets clearer and there are many minnows. In the afternoon the crowds grow and mud rises from the bottom.
