Hobyeolgwan is a reservation-only izakaya in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, serving Japanese rice bowls such as kaisendon and eel over rice. The special kaisendon tops rice with red and white fish, and the menu also includes aged hoe and domi meori suljjim. The room seats six in total: two seats at a bar table and one four-person table, and takeout takes ten minutes, with rice and hoe packed separately with an ice pack. Diners have one hour and drinkers two hours, and drinking requires ordering a bottle of sake of 750ml or more; the portions are small for the price.
