Calo Bookshop & Cafe / Calo Gallery

Calo Bookshop & Cafe, also called Calo Gallery, is a book cafe and gallery on the fifth floor of a small building near Higobashi Station in Osaka. It sells books and art books, and its chicken curry comes with brown rice, large pieces of chicken, and plenty of roux, with jalapeños or green peppers added for heat. Seating is limited to one hour, and the toilet is a traditional-style one located outside the shop. The time limit on seating makes it hard to stay long.
