Chelsea Market

Chelsea Market is an indoor market in New York's Meatpacking District with restaurants, grocery stores, and shops selling accessories and souvenirs. Lobster is cooked to order, and oysters and bubble tea are also sold there. The market occupies the former Nabisco factory where Oreos were made, and old equipment and fixtures remain throughout the building, which sits next to the High Line. On weekends and at mealtimes it gets crowded, seats are scarce, and people often end up eating standing up.
