New York Marriott Downtown operates rooms directly across from One World Trade Center in downtown Manhattan. Rooms are larger than those at Manhattan-side hotels, include a bathtub and wood flooring, and the 36th floor looks out over the Hudson River. The 9/11 Memorial Museum is a three-minute walk away and a subway station is nearby, while check-in before 4 p.m. is difficult. On weekdays breakfast is à la carte rather than a buffet and is replaced by the menu of the first-floor burger restaurant.
