Sorate is a tea shop in SoHo, New York, focused on matcha drinks. Ordering a matcha latte or iced matcha latte comes with the option of added honey, and the thick matcha is whisked by hand on site. Drinks are made to order, so there is almost no wait, and the small space has traditional Japanese interior with a few seats. With so few seats, expect to take your drink to go.
